The People Turneth Not Unto Him

“Yet the people turn not to Him Who smote them, neither do they seek [inquire for or require as their vital need] the Lord of hosts” (Isa 9:13, AMP).

HERE WE ARE ONCE AGAIN looking at rebellious ancient Israel—judgment that will (did!) come upon her for her stubborn refusal to learn her lesson; when her leaders and people had persisted in their folly and had brought RUIN upon themselves and also the innocent.

Isaiah the Prophet

ISAIAH 1:1 TELLS US that Isaiah prophesied in the reigns of 4 kings of Judah—Uzziah, Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah—and from 6:1 we learn further that his call to the prophetic office took place in the last year of Uzziah’s reign.

     Isaiah had the unpleasant duty of speaking for God to God's SINNING and REBELLIOUS people. God used the phrase “this people”—the phrase is indignant—in referrng to His own people. The city of integrity had become a harlot among cities (1:21), as the American Church is today.

     Sovereign holiness and human sin could only mean one thing—disaster! It would do the clergy of today, and their people, good to re-read their Bibles. For a people who are UNCLEAN (on purpose!), and choose to remain so, there can be no alternative but judgment.

     You see, the working of God's moral law is inexorable (see 1:18-20). Isaiah wrote that there was a day coming when the pride and rebellion, which is idolatry, will be cast down utterly before the TERROR of the Most High God, (see 2:9-22). The Lord has told us here that “pride” and “rebellion” are America’s two ruling (demonic) forces. And anyone who thinks God will overlook this is a fool! America is yet to be TERRORIZED by God!!

Transformation

THE TRANSFORMATION from warning / threat to promise depends on faith, obedience; If Israel repented she would be spared, if not, punishment. The movement of events depends upon both God and man. The Assyrians, as instruments / weapons of divine chastisement, can go only so far and no farther (10:12-17).

     You see, the LORD is both our judge and our defender (see 14:24-27; 31:5).

     Isaiah was God's mouthpiece to WARN His people. NO one can read the language of the Prophet’s oracles without hearing in them the Word of God who sent them to speak…unless one drowns out his / her consciences.

     Jesus dealt with false prophets in Matt. 7:15-20; the Holy Spirit took up where Jesus left off—using men / women to be God's mouthpiece for both blessing and judgment.

     Currently this land is overrun with fakes and snakes who proclaim “All is well”, but God's true ones proclaim “All will be Hell if repentance is not forthcoming.”

Politics / Religion

TREASON TO COUNTRY and disloyalty to God is paramount today. Warning both the Church and the pagan is not popular. Warning the people about those behind all this moral decay—in politics and in religion—what their agenda is, and what we should do about it, falls on deaf ears.

     Matt. 13:25 says, “WHILE WE WERE SLEEPING, the enemy came and sowed weeds among the wheat.” Now, dear ones, take a good look at the beautiful crop of tares / weeds!

WAR! ENEMY!

THIS IS WHAT THE WORLD is all about…unfortunately! But when anyone tries to get people educated on WHYS, they throw one HELL of a FIT!!

     I can tell you right out here and now WHY America is in such a MESS—she is at WAR against GOD. Warning this people about this only brings scoffings/ mockings/rebuttals.

     Satan is nobody’s fool, he works when you sleepy “Christians” sleep….to get your children, which is the heart of any society.

His Hand Hard Stretched Out

“FOR THE PEOPLE (Israel / America) turneth not unto Him that smiteth them, neither do they seek the LORD of hosts”—(Isa. 9:13). Back up to verse 12; here we see enemies before Israel and behind her…“they shall devour Israel with open mouth. For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.”

     Maybe you haven’t noticed it but there are many enemies of this country…ready to devour if and when the LORD lifts His protection—they are, in fact, inside the nation: Islam, Communists / socialists, homosexuals, e.g., GLBTQs, New Agers, Masons, One Worlders & Big Bankers, and now we have the Emergent Church itself who is ready—willing—and able to help destroy the very last remaining remnant of Biblical Christianity.

Biblical Christianity…

HAS BEEN REDUCED TO A MERE HANDFUL OF ADHERENTS. Christian homes and institutions have become enemies of God and His Word over the years. Worldly goals have replaced fighting for the Lord Jesus, both internally and externally. Those who control what the youth are taught and experience, what they see, hear, think, and believe, will determine the future course of any nation. Given that influence, a Christian value system of an entire culture can be overhauled and overruled in one generation—THIS GENERATION!!

     Why have Christians surrendered their children up to worldly influences? Well, because mom and dad have already surrendered. In the beginning America was, for a large part, “Christianized”, now she is “Christ-less-ized”. The enemy sowed seeds of complacency, apathy, ignorance, tolerance of sin, just plain backslidings.

Make Haste Slowly

AN OXYMORON? Yes, but a true one at that. The Socialist Fabian Society had as their motto “Make Haste Slowly”. And so Democratic Socialism became the battle cry to SOCIALIZE America. Their goal was, as one critic put it, to “permeate and penetrate,” control deep within. So, look at your present political / religious establishments: what do you see? Not folks who teach from God's Word “correctly”, but enemies who continue to sow tares while the “Christians” SLEEP!

     The Muslims likewise have their “INDOCTRINATE, PENETRATE, and DOMINATE” policy—it is working wonders while the “Christians” sleep!

     The same goes for the whole gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, queer agenda. Chastity, modesty, temperance and godliness have all been reinterpreted—once distinctive characteristics of a civilized civilization—in order to give way to an UNBRIDLED quest for raw, sick, carnal pleasure and a satanic display of the human body. This OBSESSION for sex permeates all of America—EVERYTHING is contaminated. But lest you think these “queer” folks act alone, let me introduce you to, what I have been pointing out to our listeners/viewers/ readers over the years, 10 planks of the Communist Manifesto:

     As you look at the 10 planks of the Communist Manifesto, count how many are already in effect in this country and research how many are put forward by legislators.

     1.  Abolition of private property and the application of all rent to public purpose

     2.  A heavy progressive or graduated income tax

     3.  Abolition of all rights of inheritance

     4.   Confiscation of the property of all emigrants and rebels

     5.   Centralization of credit in the hands of the State, by means of a national bank with state capital and an exclusive monopoly

     6.   Centralization of the means of communication and transportation in the hands of the State

     7.  Extension of factories and instruments of production owned by the State, the bringing into cultivation of waste lands, and the improvement of the soil generally in accordance with a common plan

     8.   Equal liability of all to labor. Establishment of Industrial armies, especially for agriculture

     9.   Combination of agriculture with manufacturing industries; gradual abolition of the distinction between town and country by a more equable distribution of the population over the country

     10. Free education for all children in government school. Abolition of children’s factory labor in its present form. Combination of education with industrial production.

     Etc. etc. (If you have heard of School to Work, it is based on the poly-technical education, which is a Soviet system of managed economy.)

     Communist Rules and Goals. The following nine rules were seized in a raid in Dusseldorf, Germany, in 1919. The files were marked, “Communist Rules for Revolution.”

     1.   Corrupt the young; get them away from religion. Get them interested in sex. Make them superficial; destroy their ruggedness.

     2. Get control of all means of publicity. Get peoples’ minds off their government by focusing their attention on athletics, sexy books, plays and other trivialities.

     3. Divide people into hostile groups by constantly harping on controversial matters of no importance.

     4. Destroy the peoples’ faith in their natural leaders by holding the latter up to contempt, ridicule and obloquy (speak against).

     5. Always preach ‘true democracy’ but seize power as fast and as ruthlessly as possible.

     6. By encouraging government extravagance, destroy its credit; produce fear of inflation, rising prices and general discontent.

     7. Foment strikes in vital industries; encourage civil disorders and foster a lenient and soft attitude on the part of government toward these disorders.

     8. By special argument cause a breakdown of the old moral virtues; honesty, sobriety, continence, faith in the pledged word, ruggedness.

     9. Cause the registration of all firearms on some pretext with a view of confiscation of them and leaving the population helpless.

     Now take a look at the current goals of Communism (Goals 11-45). [Congressional Record—Appendix, pp. A34-A35, January 10, 1963: Current Communist Goals put together by a top FBI agent and brought to Congress by Mrs. Nordman.]

     Mr. Herlong, Mr. Speaker, Mrs. Patricia Nordman of De Land, FL—opponents of Communism; the last being an ardent and articulate opponent of Communism who has been alerting the public to the dangers of Communism in America. (Note: Communism along with Humanism, Atheism, Marxism, Paganism, Socialism, Liberalism, Progressivism, and other isms of comparable ilk are destroying America.)

     Goal # 11.  Promote the U.N. as the only hope for mankind. If its charter is rewritten, demand that it be set up as a one-world government with its own independent armed forces.

     Goal # 12.  Resist any attempt to outlaw the Communist Party.

     Goal # 13.  Do away with all loyalty oaths

     Goal # 14.  Continue giving Russia access to the U.S. Patent Office

     Goal # 15.  Capture one or both of the political parties in the United States

     Goal # 16.  Use technical decisions of the courts to weaken basic American institutions by claiming their activities violate civil rights.

     Goal # 17.  Get control of the schools. Use them as transmission belts for socialism and current Communist propaganda. Soften the curriculum. Get control of teachers’ associations. Put the party line in textbooks.

     Goal # 18.  Gain control of all student newspapers.

     Goal # 19.  Use student riots to foment public protests against programs or organizations which are under Communist attack.

     Goal # 20.  Infiltrate the press. Get control of book-review assignments, editorial writing, and policymaking positions.

     Goal # 21.  Gain control of key positions in radio, TV, and motion picture.

     Goal # 22.  Continue discrediting American culture by degrading all forms of artistic expression.

     Goal # 23.  Control art critics and directors of art museums. “Our plan is to promote ugliness, repulsive, meaningless art.”

     Goal # 24.  Eliminate all laws governing obscenity by calling them “censorship” and a violation of free speech and free press.

     Goal # 25.  Break down cultural standards of morality by promoting pornography and obscenity in books, magazines, motion pictures, radio, and TV

     Goal # 26.  Present homosexuality, degeneracy and promiscuity as “normal, natural, and healthy.”

     Goal # 27.  Infiltrate the churches and replace revealed religion with “social” religion. Discredit the Bible and emphasize the need for intellectual maturity which does not need a “religious crutch”.

     Goal # 28.  Eliminate prayer or any phase of religious expression in the schools on the grounds that it violates the principle of “separation of church and state.”

     Goal # 29.  Discredit the American Constitution by calling it inadequate, old fashioned, out of step with modern needs, a hindrance to cooperation between nations on a worldwide basis.

     Goal # 30.  Discredit the American Founding Fathers. Present them as selfish aristocrats who had no concern for the “common man”.

     Goal # 31.  Belittle all forms of American culture and discourage the teaching of American history on the grounds that it was only a minor part of the “big picture”. Give more emphasis to Russian history since the Communists took over.

     Goal # 32.  Support any socialist movement to give centralized control over to any part of the culture—education, social agencies, welfare programs, mental health clinics, etc.

     Goal # 33.  Eliminate all laws or procedures which interfere with the operation of the Communist apparatus.

     Goal # 34.  Eliminate the House Committee on Un-American Activities.

     Goal # 35.  Discredit and eventually dismantle the FBI

     Goal # 36.  Infiltrate and gain control of more unions.

     Goal # 37.  Infiltrate and gain control of big business.

     Goal # 38.  Transfer some of the powers of arrest form the police to social agencies. Treat all behavioral problems as psychiatric disorders which no one but psychiatrists can understand [or treat]

     Goal # 39.  Dominate the psychiatric profession and use mental health laws as a means of gaining coercive control over those who oppose Communist goals.

     Goal # 40.  Discredit the family as an institution. Encourage promiscuity and easy divorce.

     Goal # 41.  Emphasize the need to raise children away from the negative influence of parents. Attribute prejudices, mental blocks and retarding of children to suppressive influence of parents.

     Goal # 42.  Create the impression that violence and insurrection are legitimate aspects of the American tradition; that students and special-interest groups should rise up and use united force to solve economic, political or social problems.

     Goal # 43.  Overthrow all colonial governments before native populations are ready for self-government.

     Goal # 44.  Internationalize the Panama Canal.

     Goal # 45.  Repeal the Connally reservation so the United States cannot prevent the World Court from seizing jurisdiction over domestic problems. Give the World Court jurisdiction over nations and individuals alike.

The Bible

GOD'S WRITTEN WORD, the Bible, describes in horrific detail the mass destruction of both His own people and the pagan tribes / cultures—all the result of men who refuse to leave off sin.

     For many a sweeping overview of pagan cultures—like Sodom / Gomorrah and the 5 cities of the plains (Genesis 19) or the great flood (in Gen. 6, 7), catastrophes resulting from sinfulness. Yet, in our present generation many, too many believe those Biblical accounts to be mere stories, not real ones, just stories.

     But the Bible is not a storybook, a book that weaves tales for entertainment. NO! It’s vivid and relentless, combining a formidable array of ancient and not so ancient truths—a devastating assessment of WAR and PEACE of the Holy God, Jesus the Christ, the Holy Spirit and men / women who sought to obey and paid the price of disobedience—all for our admonition.

Why Do You Want to Die?

THE BIBLE PAINTS A DEVASTATING PORTRAYAL of God's Holy Prophets / Kings who paid the price of obedience—sufferings, imprisonments, death. The New Testament portrays God's true servants as both conquerors and conquered; Jesus, God's unique Son, was put to death by the very people He came to liberate!

     Did you catch that? Isn’t this what His own people are doing to Him once again?, putting the WAY, the TRUTH, and the LIFE to death because they do not want to pay the price of obedience? And aren’t we witnesses, in our present generation, of the apocalyptic / catastrophic, misery, disease, poverty, death and destruction?

     The Bible is replete with gruesome accounts of all the above—yet America (and most of the world) “turneth not unto Him that smiteth them”.

Wickedness Burns as Fire

ISAIAH GOES ON IN HIS WRITINGS to inform us that “the leaders of this people (Israel / America) cause them to err; and they that are led of them are destroyed” (v. 16) “…for all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still” (v. 17) “…for wickedness burneth as the fire…” (v. 18).

     Don’t tell me that Sin, unchecked, will not BURN as a fire, destroying and laying waste any nation. You see, if men will not extinguish the fires of lust etc., God will release His fire of judgments for destruction.

     The “briers” and “thorns” in v. 18 are images frequently applied in Scripture, when set on fire, to the rage of the sinfully wicked; violent, yet will eventually be burned up.

     Some call God mean and lacking compassion because He brings destruction, yet, unrepentant men are as briars and thorns to God, they are useless, unprofitable, proper objects of the LORD’S WRATH, to be BURNED UP!, or driven away by the wind (Spirit).

     Isa. 33:12 reads thus: “And the people shall be as the burnings of lime: as thorns cut up shall they be burned in the fire.” Both of these Scriptures/ ideas seem to be joined in Ps. 58:9: “Before your pots can feel the thorns, He shall take them away as with a whirlwind, both living, and in His wrath” (KJV). Another version reads thus: “Before your pots shall feel the thorn, as well the green as the dry, the tempest shall bear them away.”

     “The green as the dry” is a proverbial expression, meaning all sorts of them, good and bad, great and small.

     Ezekiel 20:47 expresses it this way: “And say to the forest of the south, ‘Hear the Word of the LORD: Thus saith the LORD God; Behold, I will kindle a fire in thee, and it shall devour every green tree in thee, and every dry tree: the flaming flame shall not be quenched, and all faces from the south to the north shall be burned therein!”

     A Persian poet described a pestilence under the image of a conflagration: “This was a lightening that, falling upon a forest, consumed there the green wood with the dry” (Harmer’s Observations, Vol. 2, p. 187).

Cruel Fuel!

Isaiah 9, in verse 19 explains that, “Through the wrath of the LORD of hosts is the land darkened, and the people shall be the fuel of the fire…” God is in charge of ALL earthly matters dear ones, not man; although He may use man in His punishments, still He is in Total control.

Human or Divine?

HUMANIST MANIFESTO: Abbreviated version of the Humanist Manifesto #1:

     1.   Man gradually emerged by chance from lower forms of life over millions of years.

     2.   Man creates god out of his own experiences.

     3.   Man is his own authority and is not accountable to any higher power.

     4.   There are no absolute rules to live by.

     5.   All men should be exposed to diverse ‘realistic’ viewpoints, including profanity, immorality, and perversions as acceptable modes of self-expression.

     6.   All forms of sexual expression are acceptable.

     7.   Government ownership or control of the economy should replace private ownership of property and the free market economy.

     8.   ‘Global Citizenship’ should replace national self-determination.

     9.   There is no hope of existence beyond the grave—no heaven or hell.

     Why should anyone be surprised at the horrid state of affairs…since America, for the most part, has put its reliance upon “flesh” and not “Spirit”?

     This country in times PAST relied upon God (greater or lesser). But over the years its populace has grown to rebel against God's Word, has tolerated sin—both large and small—has replaced God of the Bible with the sick “Sacred Cow” of BIG Government. Now look at what your government is doing…treating man like an animal. Immorality and criminality are bed-partners; both are viewed favorably by the “Politically Correct” fools who run this ill country.

     In ending this article I would like to present the following battle poem from David Ford (taken from Forbidden Secrets):

     Psalm 94:16 — “Who will rise up for me against the evildoers? Who will stand up for me against the workers of iniquity?” Can’t you hear that cry from the children and then say to yourself, is there not a cause?

     Psalm 144:1 “Blessed be the LORD my Rock, Who trains my hands for war, and my fingers for battle.”

     Did not Jesus say, “I am the way, the truth, and the life?” So who will you listen to about the way we should go? Who are you going to listen to about truth? Who are you going to listen to about eternal life?
